Very family friendly place to eat. With covid restrictions it has only been a take out restaurant. They still make your visit to order or pick up your food a nice experience. Highly recommend!!!

Read the reviews, but have wanted Chinese food since we moved to the county last year. Well today we tried it and was very satisfied with the food and the service (take out). No shortages, flavours slightly different from what we have had for 20 years but still very pleasant and we WILL be going back, even though it is a 25 minute drive each way.

These folks through the pandemic have been take out only but the quality of their chinese food has ramped up incredibly. Kudos. Best chinese in the Quinte Area in my mind.

We’ve ordered from here twice. I really like the food. Not too oily or salty. Dinner for 3 could feed 4 easily and it was 60 after tax and tip.

Delightfully surprised to find out this was the best Chinese Food Meal i have ever (emphasis on EVER) had. In my house chinese food is a treat night but all were thrilled to learn that this little gem of a place steps away from my new office door is so amazing. The service was excellent but to experience excellent service and then upon eating this take out meal just couldn’t believe the wow factor of how great it was. Oh and the portions were super too!

If by chance you are in the area and craving some Chinese food, your options are very limited, but you won't regret going to island family restaurant. The homey atmosphere coupled with friendly staff gives you the feel good lunch or dinner.. Oh and the food is pretty good too. Well balanced portions and good taste without the over powering use of salt like some places I've gone to.

Good food filling meals and reasonable prices . Service good as well . We enjoyed having our 53 Wedding Anniversary dinner there . We went during the off hours and enjoyed a quit dinner .
